The historic center of Bragança and some cultural facilities in this area now offer free internet for everyone through a wi-fi network made available by the municipality, said the mayor of the city.

The new project provides a wi-fi network consisting of 26 access points distributed by places considered more relevant in terms of tourist and population affluence, namely the Graça Morais Contemporary Art Center, municipal libraries, Mask Museum, the citadel within castle and the squares of Camões and Sé.

With the network already installed and through the obligatory registration of users, the municipality also wants to collect tourist information.

G Pousada: the history of the restaurant that took a Michelin star to Trás-os-Montes

It is the first space in the region to enter the prestigious Guide. It opened in 2014 and is in the Pousada de São Bartolomeu, in Bragança.

Whatever the time of day, or the dish of the menu choice, one thing is certain at G Pousada: you always have a view over the Bragança Castle. The restaurant was one of the great novelties in the 2019 edition of the Michelin Guide, which unveiled the list of the year this Wednesday, November 21. It won a star, the first in the region of Trás-os-Montes, and thus enters the constellation where there are 20 other national spaces.

It was with his mother that Óscar learned the basics of the traditional cuisine of Trás-os-Montes. He uses the best products of the region, just like his mother, but gives you a creative touch with modern techniques. Crunchy "alheira" as if it was a Ferrero Rocher, cod turtle, partridge pie, gilt with couscous and even an ice cream with transmontano olive oil are some of the proposals of the restaurant.
